FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Graham Medical Introduces the improved MegaMover®

GREEN BAY, Wis., January 29, 2007 - Graham Medical introduces the improved MegaMover® and MegaMover® Plus, featuring a true fluid barrier and vertical nylon straps for added strength and versatility. The MegaMover® portable transport units provide an impressive 1,500 lb. load capacity and 14 strong, reinforced nylon handles which allows up to eight emergency professionals to assist in patient transport or transfer. The MegaMover® Plus has built-in pockets to accommodate standard backboards for spinal or neck injury transports.

The MegaMover® surpasses most other transport units in strength and durability at half the cost. It is ideal for transferring patients from areas inaccessible to stretchers and from stretchers to beds.

The durable, latex-free nonwoven material provides a true barrier to protect surfaces and equipment and is machine washable for reuse. Each unit is compact and lightweight, folding easily and weighing approximately one pound.
Units can be purchased through your EMS distributor either individually or in cases of 10.

In the last two years, Graham Medical has developed a number of emergency products including ComfortOneTM Disposable Sleeping Bag with Pillow Comfort1TM blanket, VisiblanketTM , FlexAir® Pillow , ComfortCase® pillowcase and Space Blanket (to contain body heat).
