Inspired by innovation, proven by performance.
Innovative Single-Use Products
At Graham Medical, we design innovative, single-use medical products with two primary concerns in mind: comfort for the patient and performance for the medical professional. We have a dedicated in-house new product development team to make sure our products meet these needs. We engineer product innovations that are tailored to meet the specific performance criteria of our target markets. The result is simply this - innovative products that perform.
Superior Distributor Service
Our innovation and performance extend beyond our products. We have created innovative logistics programs that offer our distributors numerous benefits that will improve their cash flow and bottom line. There is no greater guarantee of performance than an extraordinary record of service - for example, for the last two years, Graham's order fill rate and shipped-early or on-time rate both exceeded 98%.
Vertically Integrated, ISO-Certified Quality
As a vertically integrated company, we manufacture the paper that is used in most of our products. Thus, we maintain total quality control over all aspects of production to ensure our customers get the highest quality products available. And, because Graham Medical is ISO 9001 certified, you can be assured that the high-quality products you receive will be supported by the highest quality service. ISO certification defines a level of performance our customers can depend on. We are dedicated to upholding this reputation as we continue to introduce innovative products to the medical products industry.
Community Service
Graham Medical is dedicated to improving our community by supporting nonprofit organizations. Our current projects include a 5% donation of all sales of Stars of HopeTM table paper to the National Childhood Cancer Foundation, and a 5% donation of all sales of RoseGarden® table paper to breast cancer research.
A Tradition of Quality,
Innovation and Value
Graham Medical is a division of Little Rapids Corporation, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Little Rapids Corporation has established a long tradition of success as a specialty paper producer and converter. Our more than 50 years of papermaking experience in the medical and consumer products industries has resulted in a reputation of quality, innovation and value.
Charles Egan laid the foundation
for the present Little Rapids Corporation in 1947 when he purchased a
ground woodpulp mill in Little Rapids, Wis. Little Rapids then acquired
a specialty paper mill in 1951 in Shawano, Wis. In 1968, Mr. Egan
embarked on a strategy of forward integration and built a paper
converting plant in Green Bay that produced, among other things,
disposable medical products. Since then, Little Rapids sold its original
pulp mill and has progressed through acquisitions, including Graham
Manufacturing of Holyoke, Mass., Pacific Paper Products of Tacoma,
Wash., the beauty and barber sundries from Kimberly-Clark® Worldwide and
the beauty and dental towel business from Marcal Paper Mills. All
operations were consolidated into the Green Bay plant. In April 1999,
the company purchased the medical products business of the Binzer
Company located in Hatzfeld/Eder, Germany, as a beginning to their
European operations. A year later, the company acquired the Unalta
Division of Burox S.A., Brussels, Belgium.
Little Rapids Corporation now consists of two core businesses - Graham
Professional Products and Shawano Specialty Papers. Graham Professional
Products includes Medical, Beauty, and OEM business
units serving professional disposable markets. Shawano Specialty Papers
produces a wide range of specialty papers from three different
papermaking technologies.
